Choice Options

There are two main components of your electric service: supply (generation) and delivery (transmission and distribution). Currently ComEd provides you with both components of your electric service and issues one bill each month for the total. With customer choice, you will be able to choose who provides the supply portion of your electric service, with ComEd continuing to provide the delivery portion.

You have these choices...

You may elect to do nothing and remain a ComEd electricity customer
You may elect to have your electricity provided by another supplier and remain a ComEd Delivery Services customer.
If you become a ComEd Delivery Services customer, you may also elect to switch to a separate Metering Service Provider
