Residential customers who want to limit access to their account number and associated meter number or who want to keep this information private, can block the release of their billing and usage data. To do this, and if you are a residential customer, call 1-800-Edison-1 (1-800-334-7661) and indicate you do not want your data released to anyone.

Non-residential customers should call 1-877-4-ComEd-1 (1-877-426-6331) to block the release of billing and usage data.

Once an account has been blocked, Residential and Non-residential customers can follow the directions here to remove the block.
